Kevin Lamur will leave his job

The manager of the Executive Office of UEFA, Kevin Lamur, will leave his post on Monday.
Lamur said that his departure that he was not linked to the latest scandal surrounding the President of UEFA, Michel Platini and he has taken this decision earlier. Kevin Lamur regularly accompanied Michel Platini on his business trips.
The assistant of the President of the UEFA, Lamur also worked directly with the federations are members of UEFA, giving legal assistance. Michel Platini has proved to be embroiled in the corruption scandal in FIFA. The President of FIFA, the 79-year-old Joseph Blatter is suspected of illegal payment of Michel Platini of an amount of 2 million Swiss francs from the FIFA.
The Ethics Committee of FIFA opened an investigation regarding the President of UEFA Michel Platini and the Frenchman may be removed temporarily from carrying out his duties as the head of European football. Michel Platini was one of the candidates for President of FIFA of extraordinary elections of the World Federation of 26 February 2016.
