Croatian national Shime Vursalco continued his contract with Atletico Madrid by the summer of 2022.
The 26-year-old right-handed defender went to Spain`s Sassuolo club analyzed by insider tips 18 months ago with a transfer of 16 million euros.
In the current season, he has recorded 14 official `red-and-white` matches, with four assists.
In recent months there have been various speculations about the Croatian name. Varsalko was associated with a transfer to several Serie A teams, but with signing his new contract, he showed he did not intend to leave Madrid.
