The Spanish prosecutor`s office has demanded five years in prison for former football national Cuba Alonso. The World Champion is accused of taxing EUR 2 million of his income between 2010 and 2012 when he was carrying the Real Madrid team. If convicted, Alonso may also be fined 4 million euros. The 36-year-old Spaniard said the following:My conscience is pure because I know I have taken seriously all my tax obligations. I`m cooperating with the authorities and I`m sure everything will finish well for me.

The media in Spain claim that seeing what is going on with Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to plead guilty to his case. The striker of Real Madrid is accused of the same, but for a much higher amount.
