Wenger remains optimistic about the final

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger expressed his disappointment at the 1:1 home match mentioned by 24soccertips against Atletico Madrid in the first semi-final of the Europa League, but he remained optimistic about the chances of the gunners reaching the finish line in Lyon. For most of the game, Atletico played with someone less when Sime Vrsaljko was expelled for two yellow cards.

'If we look at our overall performance and the way the game develops, then this is the worst result. However, we must go to Madrid with a positive attitude and qualify for the final.'

\Unfortunately, we have scored a goal from nowhere. But now we have to recover from the disappointment and prepare for the next game. It was a great opportunity we missed. We could still qualify today, but it did not happen. The goalkeeper made a lot of salvation, and at the same time showed the class that they could mark a single chance!', Wenger said. The revenge in Madrid is on March 3rd.
